Download this Shopify store’s product catalog.

Paste a competitor’s Shopify store. You get their public product catalog as a CSV — every title, price, compare-at price, variant, SKU, and image — so you can compare pricing, see how they position bestsellers, and plan your own range.

Why Shopify merchants export a competitor’s products

Pricing a product against a competitor one page at a time is slow. The Shopify product exporter pulls the whole public catalog of any Shopify store into a spreadsheet — title, price, compare-at price, variants, SKUs, vendor, tags, and image links — so you can sort by price, count how many products sit in each range, and see how deep their discounting goes.

Use the file with the winning ads spy to match the product in an ad to its price and variants, and with the Shopify profit calculator to check whether their price would still leave you a margin after product cost and ads. Looking for new products instead? The winning products board lists what is selling today.

The export only includes products the store makes public, exactly as a shopper could see them. The file is built in your browser for download and is not stored on Checkout Club101.

A Shopify product exporter turns a competitor’s public catalog into rows you can sort. Title, handle, vendor, type, tags, variant, SKU, price, compare-at price, availability, and image URL — one row per variant. That is how you see whether they discount the hero product, how many price bands they sell in, and which SKUs carry a compare-at price.

Use the CSV next to live ads. The winning ads spy shows the product they are pushing; the spreadsheet shows the price and variants behind it. Before you match that price, run it through the Shopify profit margin calculator with your product cost and shipping. The file is for research. Copying their photos and descriptions is not what the export is for.

How to use the product exporter

  1. Paste the store URL and run the export.
  2. Download the CSV and open it in a spreadsheet.
  3. Sort by price and filter for rows with a compare-at price.
  4. Count unique handles to count products rather than variants.

Shopify export questions merchants ask

How to get a competitor’s products into a spreadsheet, what the file includes, and what it is good for.

How do I export products from a Shopify store I don’t own?

Paste the store URL into the Shopify product exporter above and click Export products. It reads the store’s public product list and gives you a CSV to download. No login to their store is needed because only public products are included.

Does the export include prices and sale prices?

Yes. Every variant row has the current price and the compare-at price, so you can see which products are discounted and by how much across the whole catalog.

Can I see which products a competitor pushes first?

Sort the spreadsheet by product type or tags, and look at which products carry a compare-at discount — those are usually the ones they advertise. Pair it with the winning ads spy to confirm which products are in their live ads.

What columns are in the Shopify product export?

Product title, handle, vendor, product type, tags, variant title, SKU, price, compare-at price, availability, and the product image URL. One row per variant, so a T-shirt with six sizes becomes six rows.

Can I import this file into my own Shopify store?

It is built for comparison and analysis. Shopify’s own product import expects its specific column layout, so check the column names and map them before importing. Copying a competitor’s product descriptions and images is not something we recommend.

Is the exported file saved anywhere?

No. The spreadsheet is generated for your download and is not stored on Checkout Club101.

Does the exporter work on password-protected Shopify stores?

No. If a store is behind a password page its products are not public, so there is nothing to export. Stores with a public storefront work.

What should I look for in a competitor’s product list?

Price clusters, how many variants they offer, where the compare-at discounts sit, and which products appear in their best-sellers collection. Then run their best product through the profit margin calculator with your own costs.

How many products can the Shopify exporter pull?

The public catalog the store exposes. A large store takes longer because every product and variant is included. The download is a CSV you open in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

Does the export include out-of-stock Shopify variants?

Yes, when the store still publishes them. Availability is a column, so you can filter to what is in stock and see what they keep listed anyway.

Can I export prices from a Shopify collection only?

Paste the collection URL if you only care about that range. Pasting the homepage exports the public catalog the store makes available from that starting point.

Is a Shopify product export the same as a product scraper I install?

No app is installed on your store or theirs. The exporter reads the public product list and builds the CSV in the browser. It is not saved on Checkout Club101.

What should I compare in a competitor’s Shopify price list?

The gap between price and compare-at price, how many variants sit under one product, and which products cluster at the price you can advertise. Then check that price in the ROAS calculator.
