Shopify SEO questions

What the check tells you about Google and ChatGPT, and how it differs from the CRO Audit.

Does this mean ChatGPT recommends my Shopify store?

No. It can’t see who already mentions you. It tells you whether Google and ChatGPT can find the page.

Do I need a product link?

No. Homepage, collection, product, article, or another store page. The checks follow the URL you paste. The Shopify CRO Audit is the one that jumps to a product.

Is this the CRO Audit?

No. The CRO Audit looks at what stops the sale. This page looks at whether Google and ChatGPT can read the URL. They do not share a report.

What if the schema price does not match the page?

Find where the markup gets its price. An SEO app or a hard-coded value in the theme is the usual cause. Make the markup read the live price, then run the check again. The product schema lesson covers what the markup should say.

Turn this SEO check off

Paste this inside <head> in layout/theme.liquid. The next run stops. The CRO Audit opt-out tag also stops this check. Erasing saved CRO reports only happens on the CRO Audit page.
