Product page

The product page has one job.

A Shopify product page is the last page before a cart exists. If the price, the variant, or the buy button is hard to find, later offers never get a chance.

One primary buy control

Shoppers look for Add to cart, Buy it now, or a wallet button such as Shop Pay. Two filled buttons of equal weight make people hesitate. A sticky bar or a cart drawer keeps the control in reach on a long page.

Options have to be choosable

Size and colour belong on the form, not only in the description. If every variant is sold out, the page should say so and offer pre-order only when you are actually taking those orders. A notify-me form is a waitlist, not a sale.

Proof next to the buy box

A second photo, a short clip, and a few lines of copy answer the questions the gallery cannot. Clothing needs a size chart beside the picker. A contact link in the header or a chat widget covers the question the FAQ does not.

The CRO audit scores these on a live product URL.
